Baked Strawberry Pie Ingredients
  • 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie
  • 3/4 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1/2 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, Granulated
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Baked Strawberry Pie Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Place a drip pan on lowest shelf to catch pie juices.
To Make Topping: In a medium bowl, mix until fluffy the 3/4 cup SPLENDA® Granulated Sweetener, 3/4 cup flour, butter, and nutmeg.
Place cleaned strawberries in a deep bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the 1/2 cup SPLENDA® Granulated Sweetener, 1/2 cup flour, and cornstarch. Gently coat berries with this mixture; be careful not to crush berries.
Pour berries into prepared pie crust mounding them in the middle; mounding is necessary as the berries will sink as they bake. Cover berries with crumb topping and top crumbs with about 15 pea-sized blobs of butter. Wrap edges of pie crust with foil to prevent burning.
Bake pie in preheated oven for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and bake for an additional 40 minutes. When there are 10 minutes left of baking, sprinkle a little extra SPLENDA® Granulated Sweetener over crumb topping and then finish baking...and the Baked Strawberry Pie is ready..enjoy it !

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups chopped fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 Pastry for double-crust pie (9 inches)
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
INSTRUCTIONS

Ingredients
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 pound fresh rhubarb, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 pint fresh strawberries, halved
  • 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
TOPPING:
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking or rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
INSTRUCTIONS

In a large mixing bowl, beat egg. Add the sugar, flour and vanilla; mix well. Gently fold in rhubarb and strawberries. Pour into pastry shell.
For topping, combine flour, brown sugar and oats in a small bowl; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F bake for 35 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Cool on a wire rack. The baked strawberry pie is ready to serve...enjoy it !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 prebaked 9 inch pie shell
  • 1 1/2 qt. strawberry ice cream (about 6 c.)
  • 1 c. strawberry jam
  • 3 egg whites
  • Dash cream of tartar
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish; optional
INSTRUCTIONS
Chill pastry shell well; spread bottom with strawberry jam (reserve some for top). Soften ice cream to room temperature; beat with electric mixer until smooth; spread ice cream evenly over bottom of pie shell, mounding it in the center. Place in freezer immediately while preparing the meringue topping: whip egg whites until frothy, add cream of tartar and continue beating until stiff peaks forms. Add sugar, 1 tablespoons at a time, and beat until stiff and glossy; spread meringue evenly over ice cream in shell to the edges to seal well. Bake pie at 450 degrees until slightly browned, 4-5 minutes. Drizzle strawberry jam over top. The baked strawberry pie recipe is ready to serve...nice ! Enjoy it !

  • 3/4 liter vanilla or strawberry ice cream
  • 4 egg whites
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • Sliced almonds
INSTRUCTIONS
Cool pie shell. Have strawberries chilled and ice cream very hard. Beat egg whites until stiff with salt and cream of tartar, do not beat until dry. Gradually add sugar until glossy peaks form. Add vanilla; spread over pie. Make sure meringue covers all of ice cream. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 450 to 475 degrees until lightly browned.
